JAKE MANNA

Percussion Director
Blue Valley West High School

Jake Manna joined the Blue Valley West area band faculty as Percussion Director in 2025. Jake coordinates all aspects of the Red & Silver Brigade Percussion section and instructs the concert ensemble percussion sections at West. Jake also coordinates percussion activities at Lakewood and Pleasant Ridge Middle Schools. 

Jake Manna is a recent University of Kansas graduate with a degree in Music Education.  He studied classical percussion under Dr. Sam Um and Garret Arney, drumset with Brandon Draper, and World Percussion with Dylan Bassett.  He has also been part of the University of Kansas Drumline and Marching Jayhawks for 6 years.  Jake is a graduate of Blue Valley West High School.
