Both ensembles received top ratings of I (Outstanding) from the three judges for overall I ratings (the first time that both bands accomplished this feat since 2013.) Both bands also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Joe Parisi from UMKC in a clinic following their performance. As some of you may know, Mrs. Gamble (the Pleasant Ridge Middle School Band Teacher), had emergency surgery and will be out for a while recovering. Knowing that many of our students and families adore Mrs. Gamble, we thought they may wish to support her family in some way. If you would like to bring a card of well wishes or a gift card (restaurants, gas, general) for her family, our band directors will be collecting over the next couple of weeks and ensure they get to her.
