Band UPDATE for 2/13 - 2/19

​A delayed update as things have been a bit fluid this week between the Chiefs’ victory and fluctuating schedules at the high school.
 
Wind Ensemble Rehearsals
Thank you for some fantastic work this week Wind Ensemble! As we discussed this morning, we will have a 7 AM rehearsal on Thursday, February 16 rolling into the adjusted 1st block schedule for that day to help keep us on track for preparation for KMEA. Please also remember our dress rehearsal on Monday from 6-9.
 
Symphonic Band Dress Rehearsal
A reminder to Symphonic Band that we have a dress rehearsal at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21 with the 7th grade band students from PRMS and for our concert that night.
 
Concerts
Side By Side Concert – Symphonic Band and 7th Grade – Tuesday, February 21 at 7 PM. Symphonic Band should report before 6:45 PM in concert black.
 
KMEA Preview Concert – Tuesday, February 21 at 8 PM. Wind Ensemble should report at 7 PM to the band room dressed in concert black.
 
KMEA Performance – Wind Ensemble
Our BVW Wind Ensemble was selected to perform at the KMEA State Convention in February! Our performance is on Friday, February 24, at 11:10 AM.
