Band UPDATE for 2/20 - 2/26

​Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! We have a busy week of performances ahead! A huge congratulations to Katie Wasson, Victoria Yoo, and Alex Phan on earning I Ratings and Medals at the KSHSAA State Piano Festival this past Saturday!
 
Concerts
Side By Side Concert – Symphonic Band and 7th Grade – Tuesday, February 21 at 7 PM. Symphonic Band should report before 6:45 PM in concert black.
 
KMEA Preview Concert – Tuesday, February 21 at 8 PM. Wind Ensemble should report at 7 PM to the band room dressed in concert black.
 
KMEA Performance – Wind Ensemble
Our BVW Wind Ensemble was selected to perform at the KMEA State Convention in February! Our performance is on Friday, February 24, at 11:10 AM.

Solo & Ensemble Festival
The KSHSAA Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival is held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Olathe South HS. This is a terrific opportunity for students to learn and grow musically! Please note the following. Interested students must complete our internal registration form no later than March 1! Students with questions should visit with a director prior to registering.
