Brass Players Getting Braces?
|
Check with your Doctor. This new method for braces might be a better alternative for your brass playing.
Traditional braces often cause performance problems for high brass players. Check this website to see if
this option could work for you. http://www.invisalign.com/generalapp/us/en/what/index.jsp

|
Blue Valley West has was selected as one of only seven American Bands to perform in the prestigious
London New Year's Day Parade. The band will traveled from December 26, 2009 to January 2, 2010. Students
toured London, gave a sold out concert performance in St. Augestine's Church, the "Cathedral of the North,"
and performed in the parade. This is a huge honor for the Red and Silver Brigade and one that none of the
students will ever forget. The band was also very fortunate to be visited by the Lord Mayor herself on February

Jazz Band. The band was featured on the NBC news broadcast, in the Kansas City Star, and in the Kansas
City Sun. Please click the London link above for more information.

This years marching season has come to a close with one of the most successful seasons ever. As the band
performed at Finals in Columbia on Halloween, they had by far their best performance of the year. As the
students came off of the field all of the students hugged and cried and knew we had the best performance of
their lives. What a wonderful experience it was. After being in competition with 130 other bands throughout the
season, the Red and Silver Brigade was ranked above 100 of those bands. What a great season it was. Thank
you to all of the students for all your hard work and to all of the parents for all of your help and support.
