How to Register for Charms
Charms is the organizational system we use to send band emails, newsletters, organize fundraising and finances, and keep track of our calendar. You MUST sign up for Charms to be in band – make sure you have at least one student and one parent email entered to stay up to date!

- Click on NEW STUDENTS CLICK HERE!
- Charms will prompt you to enter personal information for the STUDENT. For student ID, enter your BVID (lunch number). Enter an email address that you check often. Make sure names, addresses, and phone numbers are correct.
- AFTER you create your student’s account, click ADD NEW ADULT to add at LEAST one parent/adult to the account. Enter an email AND phone number for the adult – this is how all of our communication is done!
Updating CHARMS
If you or your student is new to the band program, they've created an account in our organization system, Charms. You normally don't have to do much with Charms, but we use it to send almost all of our emails, organize inventory, finances, and our music library.
Whether you're new to Charms or have an account that needs your information updated, the instructions below will show you how to login and update your personal/contact information.
NOTE: Mr. Merryfield CANNOT tell you your password if you forget it! If it's the first time you're logging in, it will be your student BVID number. After that Charms will prompt you to create a new password.
If you've created a password and have forgotten it... try to remember! Mr. Merryfield can only reset it back to your BVID manually.
