All-State Honor Groups Announced

After auditioning in Salina over the past weekend, eight Blue Valley West students were selected to perform in the KMEA All-State Honor Groups at the In-Service Workshop in late February. Over 2000 students across the state audition to be in these ensembles! They are:

Jazz Band
Michael Svoren - 1st Alto - won his audition!
Cameron Harris - Bari Sax - won his audition!
Dante DeCicco - Guitar - won his audition!

Orchestra
Deacon Ridley - 4th trombone

Band
Amu Nuney - 7th flute
Bailey George - 6th clarinet
Alex Jashinski - 2nd alto
Evan Norkey - 2nd tuba
